Debra is a licensed fiduciary. She holds a B.S. degree with honors in Business Administration/Finance from University of Northern Colorado, an honors certificate from the Denver Paralegal Institute, and has also taken graduate courses in tax and accounting at San Diego State University.
Before joining Childers & Coventry in 2007, she gained a diverse range of experience working in the insurance/financial services fields for a number of years, and in the legal field working for Latham & Watkins in San Diego, California, and Holme Roberts & Owen and CF&I Steel Corporation in Colorado. These experiences combine to provide her with a strong basis to effectively carry out a wide scope of fiduciary responsibilities at the firm.

Before joining Childers & Coventry in 2017, Jessica forged a successful career, of over fifteen years, in the real estate title industry. As a commercial escrow officer, Jessica worked closely with underwriters in commercial sales and refinance, national accounts multi-site franchise, sale/leaseback, construction loans, and residential sales and refinance transactions.
Following the financial crisis of 2008, Jessica gained several years of experience in creditors' rights and collections law. She is well-qualified to handle complex transactions involving court-administered sales i.e. bankruptcies, receiverships, probate and trust matters, and government forfeitures. Jessica’s diverse professional background, and varied skill set, will be invaluable in her role at Childers & Coventry.
